Background
Emily Moore started writing and illustrating in 2024 with her first children’s book “Inkie”. She is currently working on publishing her second children’s book. She loves reading and writing, and when she was younger, she was a part of Young Authors. Her inspiration comes from her life and teaching experiences. When she isn’t writing or painting, Emily is teaching eighth grade math in Michigan.
Watercolor Illustrations
Emily uses watercolor paint to illustrate each of her stories. She paints at home and then uses illustrator to create the images you see in her books.
Writing
Emily gets her inspiration for writing from her life experiences. She has minors in language arts, math, and science, and she uses these passions to combine fiction and non-fiction within her stories. Her books include themes and ideas in which children can relate, such as teasing, bullying, self-confidence, bravery, friendship, and emotions.
